I'm Rajib: I live in West London and work for a software company.
I am a solo traveler, a nerd, a t-shirt collector, and a collector of other nerdy things. I enjoy photography and take loads of pictures when traveling. This blog is linked to an app on my phone: when I take pictures, they get uploaded in my blog while on-the-go.
Not show-casing anything: there are no visits counter in this blog, I don't use social media and not looking for likes or followers. This blog is just a space for me to store the photos I take when I am traveling.
In my free time, I occasionally teach Python and IT at a charity called Codebar (This blog has been written using Python and Flask, happy to teach you if you're interested next time I coach at Codebar)
I also organise events around well-being and mental health on Meetup.
See the events section to find out more.
If you want to get in touch, feel free to reach out. Will be nice hearing from you :)
Whenever people see me using my devices, I always get the same question: "is that a Chinese device?" Well, most devices are made in China. So in that sense, yes, my devices are Chinese... just like yours. But mine are maybe uncommon. Like the Red Magic 9 Pro from ZTE that I use as my everyday phone (very well known brand by the way). It's a phone with a fan and exhaust vent, with RGB lights on the back. Wait until you see my laptop. Security at airports get very curious sometimes and ask me questions about where I got my devices from.
A gaming phone, with an exhaust vent for RGB lighted fan and other LEDs. My everyday phone.
A game console that looks like the PS Vita, hiding a physical kseyboard - yes, it's a PC too and packs quite a punch!
My current laptop. A 10-inch gaming PC. Like the Nintendo Switch, it has controllers we can fit on the sides. It has LED lights on the back.
I occasionally organise events around well-being and mental health on Meetup, from the London Cosmopolitan Muslim group.
My events are structured with some rules to follow with the sole purpose of making everyone feel comfortable and included. Free from awkwardness and small talk, it gathers people seeking genuine conversations. Numbers are kept low on purpose (up to 8 people) so that everyone can talk to each other on important and meaningful topics. I believe this format creates a safe and judgement free space where people can genuinely interact with like-minded individuals, and enjoy a level of depth they may not find elsewhere.
My events are completely free to attend, but you must purchase a beverage/drink from the venue.
